Children & Young People Now magazine and its associated websites, provide support and relevant topical content for frontline practitioners working with children, young people, and their families. They bring together children's and youth professionals across health, social work, education, childcare, youth work, youth justice and advice for young people.
The annual Children & Young People Awards aim to recognise and celebrate the innovative and inspiring initiatives taking place all over the UK by professionals who work day-in, day-out, to improve the life chances of children, young people and their families. The awards are a way to communicate some of the learning and best practice from projects at the forefront of delivering services for children and young people. They also provide an opportunity to raise the profile of the sector to government, political and funding supporters, and the general public.
This year will see thirtyone:eight sponsoring a Safeguarding Award which recognises initiatives that have made the biggest contribution to keeping children and young people safe from harm. Judges will be looking for examples of exceptional teamwork and multi-agency working.
Speaking about this new partnership, Peter Wright, Head of Communications at thirtyone:eight said "We're really excited to be partnering with Children & Young People Now for these important awards celebrating all the incredible work being done at grassroots level across the UK. Our sponsorship of the safeguarding award category is a part of our continuing commitment to encourage society in raising standards in safeguarding practice."
"We're delighted to be associated with these awards as we know of so much excellent work that is being done by our members and other organisation with children and young people, and seek to support those who demonstrate our heart for protecting vulnerable people."
The awards, which are free to enter, close on Friday 28th June, and are open to any organisation, setting
or project, whether in the public, voluntary or private sector. More information about how to get involved can be found here: https://www.cypnowawards.com/
