Safeguarding in the Christian faith context during and post COVID-19

Help us understand the impact of COVID-19 on safeguarding

As part of our commitment to being a learning organisation, we regularly commission academically rigorous research to assist in the development of best practice safeguarding within the faith sector in the UK and overseas.

For our latest project, we have asked the University of Chester to conduct some research about the role of safeguarding leads in Christian faith organisations before, during and post COVID-19 to help us better understand the impact the global pandemic has had on safeguarding in these settings.

Who should take part?

If you hold a safeguarding role in a Christian faith organisation then we'd encourage you to consider taking part.

What's involved?

You'll be asked to complete a questionnaire about your experiences that should take you no more that about 15 mins. The questionnaire also provides an overview of what the research is about and how the information gathered will be used. You can also find out more by watching the introductory video on this page and by downloading the information sheet.

The closing date for taking part is Sunday 28th February 2021.
