Fiona McKellar – Trainer

I grew up in Glasgow and now live in the Scottish Highlands. I have spent 18 years working in education and have recently become a certified Parent Coach offering parenting classes / workshops and 1:1 support. I have a very good working knowledge of the Scottish system and having worked as a Head Teacher, a real lived experience of what is means to be a Safeguarding lead.  For me, safeguarding is about getting support to families at the earliest point and getting alongside them to help.

I enjoy collaborating with others who share the same values and dreams for the families they support.  I love seeing participants feel supported and grow in confidence as they take on these important roles.
