Michele Wilkinson – Trainer

The heart of all my work has been children and families. Early on I was a nursery nurse and nannied for a few families. I worked with cancer patients for a while then as an outreach worker for Barnardo’s, connecting with families. Then I worked for an organisation called ‘Love for Life’, a Christian organisation working with schools on sexuality and relationships. I went on to work for Women’s Aid, in court support and advocacy. I also worked for Barnardo’s helping dads in prison prepare for life back with their families.

I love training because…

I just love empowering people. I love getting alongside people and them leaving more encouraged than when they came.
