This Basic Safeguarding Awareness course has been designed to increase your general knowledge and awareness about safeguarding.

By the end of this course you will have an awareness of:

  • What abuse is, what safeguarding is and why it’s important
  • Some of the key issues and responsibilities in safeguarding children and adults
  • How to respond to concerns and the importance of responding well

You will need to allow at least 1 hour to complete the course.

You will require a device that can access the internet and has audio capabilities. The course has been designed to be completed in one go, so we recommend that you make time to complete the course from start to finish once you access it.
