This Basic Safeguarding Awareness course has been designed to increase your general knowledge and awareness about safeguarding.
By the end of this course you will have an awareness of:
- What abuse is, what safeguarding is and why it’s important
- Some of the key issues and responsibilities in safeguarding children and adults
- How to respond to concerns and the importance of responding well
You will need to allow at least 1 hour to complete the course.
You will require a device that can access the internet and has audio capabilities. Access to this course is managed by Mark Mitchell – Safeguarding Officer BYM.
