Having conversations about culture isn't always easy.
It needs a safe space, where people know they will be listened to and not judged. There needs to be a willingness by those who lead to be open to receiving feedback and committed to addressing areas of concern that may be identified.
- As you consider how you might use this tool think about where, when and who with. You may want to set the expectations and some ground rules first.
- Read through the questions on each of the cards beforehand (there are five for each section). Are there any that stand out to you as being particularly challenging to your organisation?
- Watch the video on culture to help frame your conversations. You could share this with the group before you start.
- Have a notepad or device handy. You'll need this to make notes on any insights you discover or any actions you need to take.
If you have any questions, or if this raises any areas of concern call our Safeguarding Helpline for advice.
