Thirtyone:eight is delighted to have been announced as a winner in the Association Excellence Awards 2019 in the category 'Best lobbying campaign or advancement of a cause 2019' for our rebrand campaign - 'Creating safer places. Together.'
These awards are the acknowledged standard for membership organisations and associations, and seek to reward hard-won achievements through bringing together a panel of judges that represent associations from every sector. The awards recognise individuals, teams and initiatives and highlight excellence in how membership organisations and associations operate and serve their members and clients. Winners were announced at a ceremony held on 11 October 2019 at the Oval in London.
Commenting on the result, the judges said Thirtyone:eight's rebrand was: "An innovative campaign on an important and sensitive topic. It was an ambitions brief with multi stakeholders and strong objectives. The campaign aligned strongly to the core purpose and values of the organisation with impressive strategic alignment. Very effective re-branding and re-positioning exercise that has led to demonstrable outcomes relevant to the mission of the organisation."
Andy Pierce (second from left) Chairman of Trustees at Thirtyone:eight said: "I was absolutely delighted to receive this award on behalf of Thirtyone:eight. To win against such serious competition is really impressive, and reflects the outstanding work of our staff team."
Justin Humphreys, joint-CEO at Thirtyone:eight, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have won this award, especially as it is judged by people within the charity and membership sector itself. We are consistently striving to ensure all our services are of the highest quality whilst remaining affordably priced and accessible to all. At Thirtyone:eight we value the trust our member organisations place in us to serve them in this way.”
“Membership to us means more than just access to services, but is about building strong, beneficial, lasting relationships, and a community that supports not just the organisations themselves but also seeks to raise the standards in safeguarding across the sector. This recognition by our peers means so much to us, and reflects the hard work and dedication put in by the team on a daily basis to support the creation of safer places for all.”
