Two women high-fiving

"Due to the nature of my job I am required to attend a lot of safeguarding training. I have to say that today's training has been one of the best. The team were engaging and approachable. There was a lovely balance between going through course content and active engagement with participants. I specifically liked how they drew on real life case examples. The course resources are well laid out and comprehensive. I appreciated the links and resources that were provided as well as areas for further study. Thank you for the work you do."

"I feel much more equipped and confident about recognising and reacting to abuse if/when I come across it, the course was excellent. A difficult subject but very sensitively led. It was especially helpful being able to listen to the questions and answers."

Our training is:

Survivor centred

Our process is survivor-centred, prioritising the dignity, experiences, needs, and wishes of people with lived experience. We keep participants fully informed at every stage, ensuring their consent is given freely, respected and acted upon throughout.

Empowering

We strongly believe that safeguarding training isn’t about knowing more, but about being able to do things more safely. We adopt a practical approach to our training and equip you with a handbook as an ongoing resource, so the learning continues after the sessions.

Trauma informed

We recognise that anyone may have experienced trauma or Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). We integrate this understanding into our work to create safe environments, build trust, and empower individuals to share their experiences and point of view with us
