Auxilia Muganiwah – Trainer
I moved from Zimbabwe when I was 19 and trained as a nurse for people with learning disabilities. I worked as a nurse, then joined the Local Authority as a Care Manager. When the Mental Capacity Act came in, I trained as a Mental Capacity Assessor. I joined Thirtyone:eight in 2020 and also started working for the local NHS Mental Health Trust at that time. I work for the Safeguarding Team there, we deliver training, consultation and complete SAR reviews. I’m also the Safeguarding Trustee for a charity.
I love training because…
I like encouraging people and enabling them to confidently address safeguarding issues.
