Helen Platt – Trainer

I have over 20 years of experience in the Health Sector.  I practiced as a Health Visitor for 13 years and developed a passion for safeguarding whilst working on a challenging and complex caseload. As well as my work with Thirtyone:eight I currently work as a Specialist Nurse Safeguarding Families for an Integrated Care Partnership, driving quality around safeguarding across the health economy and providing specialist safeguarding advice.

It’s great to see the enthusiasm of delegates with an appetite to be equipped to safeguard others.  Nothing thrills me more than to hear delegates discussing how they are going to implement learning to create safer spaces.
