Janet Ayoola – Trainer
As well as delivering training for Thirtyone:eight, I’ve been a social worker since 2010, working predominantly with children and families. Before I qualified, I worked with deaf-blind adults in a disability team. Currently, I work as a Child Protection Conference Chair. I chair conferences, oversee Child Protection Plans, undertake audits etc. It’s a quality assurance role. I am an independent member of the audit and risk committee for Guide Dogs UK. I also occasionally do some independent social work, such as parenting assessments for care proceedings.
I love training because…
I love the interaction with people. The majority of the people we are training are volunteers; they are already committed and are giving their time to make their places safer.
