Nicola Ritchie – Trainer

I stepped into full-time ministry in 2003, as a Children’s Pastor originally. A key focus was working well as a team and creating a safe space for children. I wasn’t called a ‘Safeguarding Lead’ then, but I was looking at how to be safe together. Today as one of the Executive Pastor’s and the Safeguarding Team Lead, I liaise with ministry leaders and work on creating a strong safeguarding culture.

It allows me to connect with diverse individuals from various backgrounds. Witnessing the unique perspectives each person brings is truly enriching. The prospect that each attendee might take away just one valuable insight from our session fills me with immense joy.
